ICHIGO is a limited liability company, jointly established by its parent company TechMatrix, fellowship trained radiologists, and a renowned Japanese radiology technologist. TechMatirx has been in the medical & healthcare market since 1998, providing PACS systems and other IT services to over 350 hospitals and medical institutions in Japan. This collaboration of advanced technologies and deep domain expertise has created the Ichigo state-of-the-art, secure, safe and simple-to-use Teleradiology infrastructure.
Over the Ichigo infrastructure, hospitals and medical institutions can transmit large images and sensitive patient information with absolute security while minimizing bandwidth requirements and therein enabling radiologists to do their jobs more efficiently and without the frustrations associated with remote environments.
ICHIGO does not provide diagnostic services, only the Teleradiology network infrastructure. Individual doctors, hospitals, medical institutions, corporations and anyone engaged in Teleradiology can take advantage of the Ichigo infrastructure. It requires a minimum of upfront investment and is based on cost-effective transaction fees.
